Your Role

We are not just looking for a few workers; we are looking for a complete drilling team! This dream team consists of:

Drill Master (working team leader): You lead the team, coordinate the work, and ensure everything goes according to plan. With your leadership skills and technical know-how, you guide the team to success. You interpret the drilling plans and translate them into clear instructions for your team. You lead the drilling team, coordinate daily activities, ensure inspection and maintenance of the HK45 compact rigs, and communicate with project managers about progress. You solve technical problems and optimize the drilling process. Preferably, you already have experience in the HDD world.

Rig Operator (driller): You are the master of our brand new machine. Operating and maintaining our HK45 rigs is your domain. You ensure that the drilling installations are always in top condition and run smoothly. You operate the rigs, perform inspections and maintenance, assist with the setup and breakdown of drilling equipment, and help solve technical problems. Experience with operating similar HDD rigs is required.

Helper (2x): You are the indispensable sidekicks of the team. From coupling drill rods to operating the screening installation, you are involved in everything and ensure the drilling process runs smoothly. You help with setting up and breaking down drilling installations, support the Rig Operator and Drill Master in various tasks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Experience is not required, but a plus.

Helper/Excavator Operator: You are the king/queen of excavation. Operating excavators (13-15 tons) and wheel cranes (15-17 tons) and supporting the team in various tasks is part of your role. You ensure the worksite is always ready for action. You operate excavators to prepare and clean up the worksite, assist in setting up, breaking down, and maintaining drilling equipment, and handle various operational issues. Additionally, you regularly lend a hand to support your fellow helpers.

Your Profile

• An adventurous spirit. You don't have a 9-5 mentality and are willing to work in challenging conditions. Yes, sometimes at night, when our drilling, for example, gets stuck. You are willing to work at various locations and are flexible towards the diverse tasks that come your way.
• Experience and technical knowledge. Relevant experience in a similar role within the construction or tunneling sector and knowledge of drilling techniques and equipment are very useful for the Rig Operator and Drill Master. A solid dose of technical insight is essential for all team members.
• Leadership skills. The Drill Master has experience in a leading role, for example, as a team leader. Besides directing and coordinating, you are very hands-on and work effectively with the team.
• Communication skills. You form a strong team, and good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team play an essential role.
• Willingness to learn and team spirit. Being open to learning new things and willing to work as a team are important for all team members. You have a strong interest in learning many things in the wonderful world of HDD drilling.
• Language skills. Proficiency in English and/or German is required.
