Traffic Signage Worker
Your Role
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Installing and maintaining traffic signage at various locations throughout Flanders.
- Responsible for the safe and correct placement of signage in accordance with current guidelines and legislation.
- Flexible working hours, depending on the schedule and location.
- In case of emergencies, you are willing to respond quickly and be on-site (including nights and weekends).
- After a training period, you are expected to independently take on a foreman role and lead a team.
- Ensure effective communication with all parties involved in traffic incidents when called on-site.
- Bear responsibility for the safety of yourself, your team, and other road users while placing signage.
Your Profile
- A driving license (at least category B, BE is a plus) is an absolute requirement.
- Fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written, due to the communication demands related to traffic and safety.
- Willing to work throughout Flanders, with Ranst as the base of operations.
- Flexible in working hours, including willingness to work at night and on weekends when necessary, and to respond quickly when called.
- No specific background in signage is required, but experience in similar work is always welcome.
- Foreman capabilities are necessary — after a training period, you must be able to lead a team independently.
- You have a strong work ethic and are motivated to work accurately and punctually, with attention to detail and safety.
