Your Role
Assistant for Special Techniques
As an Assistant for Special Techniques, you will work daily with a team of two colleagues to carry out foundation works on, among others, historic buildings and quay walls.
- Your team consists of you, the driller, and the high-pressure installation operator.
- Using various specialized techniques, your team is responsible for reinforcing or raising foundations.
- As the assistant, your responsibilities include supplying materials, performing preparatory tasks, and carrying out small-scale earthworks.
- Communication with your team is done via walkie-talkie.
Your Profile
- Communication is key in this role: you speak and understand fluent Dutch and can communicate briefly, clearly, and to the point.
- You are hands-on, proactive, and take responsibility for your tasks.
- You are punctual and always prioritize safety.
- On-the-job training is provided — prior experience is not required.
- You are in excellent physical condition to complete the work successfully with your two colleagues.
- Not afraid to get your hands dirty — a must in this role.
- You live along the West Flanders – East Flanders – Antwerp axis or the Ghent – Brussels axis.
