Your Role
As a Tender Manager, you are part of the International Tender Team and you report to our Manager Energies & Water Africa.
After an introduction period you will be responsible for the entire tender process of one or more large, multidisciplinary and complex projects in the oil & gas and water industry.
You are responsible for all aspects of the tender until contract signature.
You monitor all parameters of the tender process in terms of design, procurement, organization & resources, budget, contract, legal & administrative…, with the support of tender engineers and other departments of Denys.
You follow the entire tendering processes and you adjust where necessary.
You ensure a correct preparation of the tenders, in terms of the price, the planning and documentation, meaning administratively, technically and commercially.
You map out the complete tender such as requirements, specifications, etc.. and you analyze the technical feasibility, risks and opportunities. Thanks to your ability to think critically, you also take into account the contractual aspects.
You work out a thorough and detailed case study per project. You look at different execution modalities to obtain the best possible tender and technical solution.
After an internal consultation you are responsible for the correct preparation of the tender.
You actively participate in meetings and site visits.
You consult all the internal parties, the client, the project team, …
You analyze the potential suppliers or subcontractors and report about it to your Manager.
Your Profile
You have a Master’s degree in Engineering or a Master’s degree in Industrial Sciences, and minimum 5 years of experience in a tender role.
You are a very organized and communicative person, and are able to negotiate and build relationships with clients and partners.
You are able to combine your conceptual thinking with your creativity and ‘out of the box’ thinking. You also reflect spontaneously on the feasibility of your ideas.
You have a solid portion of business sense.
You are willing to travel, for short duration.
You speak and write fluently English and French.
