Tender Engineer Germany
Your Role
Project costing: you prepare cost calculations for projects involving underground pipeline construction, district heating and energy pipelines, as well as gas, water and utility lines.
Document analysis: you review tender documents, technical specifications, drawings and project documentation and structure the relevant requirements in a clear and organized manner.
Quantities: you analyze pipeline lengths, construction phases and planned construction methods such as HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling), and use this information to determine quantities, required work and resources.
Developing concepts: you contribute to technically and economically optimized construction, equipment and logistics concepts, as well as project execution plans, schedules and safety plans.
Evaluating quotations: you request quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, compare them and incorporate the results into the cost calculation.
Preparing tenders: you compile technical and cost-related documentation, identify opportunities and risks, and prepare the information for further processing by the Tender Manager.
Joint project preparation: you work closely with the Tender Manager, operational project teams and specialists from the Belgian parent company. If required, you also support tenders and projects outside Germany. Through regular project and site visits, you develop a practical understanding of the company's construction methods.
